WORKFLOW

After colorgrading your production needs a nice finish. Finishing is the place where everything comes together. Your colorgraded material, titels, graphics, audio and special FX are all combined, checked and prepared for output.

What is finishing?
- creating composits or special FX
- creating titles and graphics
- placing audio files
- versioning: some deliveries require a different colourspace, sound or subtitles
- quality checks
- generation of outputs. Output can be tapes, digital files, LTO backup tapes and of course DCP.

For Finishing Loods uses an Autodesk Smoke system. This leading editing, compositing and FX solution is now available in our finishing room.

DELIVERABLES

Loods offers all the common output delivery formats. HDCAM, Digibeta, DCP (E-Cinema and D-Cinema), image sequences, quicktime files etc. etc. On request every other format is available. For backup Loods has the ability to put your project on LTO4 tapes. These tapes last much longer than harddisks or videotapes and are guaranteed for at least 50 years.
